    Geolocation:
We use Yahoo to find your geo-location from the address you put in. To change your location you login and click Edit My Account. From there type in an address into the text box on the right and click the button "Find GeoLocation". Once it's been found you can set your geolocation by clicking the next button "Set as My Coordinates". Lastly, click the button "Update" to save your new geolocation.

You can find a person's geolocation by going to their profile page.

    Avatars
GC supports Gravatars but it also supports it's own avatar. You can upload your own avatar by clicking "Edit My Account" and then clicking the "Avatar Icon". From there you can select between your GC icon and your Gravatar icon. For the GC icon you can upload any picture and it well resize it to the correct size.. If you want to use your Gravatar then you can select that option. If your Gravatar is under a different email address then you may enter a different email address just for your Gravatar

    hey Brad,
something I just remembered, but not sure if anyone's told you about it. there seems to be a little glich when URLs are posted on the main page. in most cases, when a URL is posted, it makes a complete link to the desired page, but in some cases, the link only links to a portion of the URL, and therefore goes nowhere. this seems to happen whenever a comma or apostrophe or number sign (#) is included in a URL. so, for instance, if you posted the URL "http://www.globalconscious.com/board,topic" the site would only link the URL up to the comma, sending you to "http://www.globalconscious.com/board" excluding the ",topic" portion. just a little glich I noticed.

thanks for the great site :)
