Looking for help, for a friendly hand. Finding that answers are not the same around Finding that questions are best asked by self. Seeking to find a nibble of truth Finding a nibble, a tug, a yank. Seeking alone as seeking is deep gathering evidence of truth. Knowing alone what others dare not speak Forming the framework of truth I will not leak Speaking to God for the first time in ages Feeling connected to a world of sages. Continuing down a path I will not falter Seeking more answers where ever they lie. Seeing, Hearing, Understanding in greater ways... It's all just an endeavor until the great day. Waking up to the big riddle I saw in my dreams Finding God in Every Single Thing. Entrenched in Destiny and the answers come quickly Awake and aware, Epiphany, Rapture, and Salvation. In all I know much, and the world around is a lie. I try very hard to cope, and find I must rely... On not being perfect, but coming closer than I was On playing Love's game like everyone does. The greatest secret of all our time, Waking to God is deeply sublime. A one who wakes up can never turn back The call is heard and heeded for life does one believe. It is simply so that one may not explain or teach, a one who is not yet seeking on their own. To believe, your heart must be true. The tribulations you must endure will test your faith. For it seems obvious now that the lies the church tells, do nothing for some, yet for those who wake in their religion, they owe it to their Religion and to their Deity and not to themselves. For as I will tell you in just a moment, True connection to God requires no dogma, no bible, no tradition, and no membership. True connection to God is simply True. Awareness of ONE and the astounding truth of it will Amaze any one alive who experiences it. The important thing to recognize is that, people keep this a secret to themselves. Such is the way, an ancient way. It lives on to this day. For what reason? Who can be sure to say? But once truth be told, God is the way. And God is watching, and God knows. Your path was paved a very long time ago. Choose what you may, but everything happens for a reason. Doing the right thing is recommended. The ability to know when things are good and right, the sense to know when things are wrong and bad, Thank you for music, the beat of the drum pounding into my soul, the flute carrying my prayers to you. Most of all, Thank you for those I love and who love me, they are your greatest gift. I am not my skin or the shape of any of my body parts. I am not the IQ of my brain. I am not the sound of my voice or the volume of my laughter. I am not my strengths or any of my weaknesses. I am not the level of my skills. The temple of my physical makeup is a culmination of genetics. It reveals nothing about the person who resides within. I take no credit or point no blame for the way I look. My temple is perfect, as is. This body is not who I am. It is an exquisitely perfect dwelling for my soul. Everything about it is exactly as it should be. No other, anywhere, ever, could serve my soul as well. I am not anything you can see with your eyes or touch with your hands. Should you judge me by that criteria, you will never know me. I am not a dumping ground for bias that's based on a man-made standard, and I do not accept the prejudice it creates. I am a union of body, mind and spirit, a trio, not a solo. To know me, is to know yourself. Those who hear the voice of their soul, recognize the song in mine. They do not stop at the front door and judge me by the dwelling in which I reside. With a humble sense of honor, they knock upon the door and ask to come in. The judgment of others does not change who I am. Quite the opposite is true. It reveals who they are. Those who deem me unworthy at a glance and pass me on by, have my blessing to keep walking, for they have a long way to go. They have not reached the point in their journey where they are able to see and appreciate me for who I am. Am I valueless to you? Do you not see my wisdom? Is that why you fail to reflect it back to me? You cast me aside from the first. You rejected me because you feared me. You fear me still. But only because you do not understand my beauty. You fear it will give me power over you, so you try to crush it, to ignore it. And so you hurt me, and so you damage you. Your loss is my loss. We loose and the balance and harmony is lost. All of creation suffers because my creativity is denied by half. We are the same. Now I see, now I understand. Now I laugh inwardly. Zen is a game! Nothing is important.
